Who are we?

We are a small team of linguists, memory experts, and technologists passionate about the practical uses of VR. We want to use this new technology to revive and enhance ancient practices and fundamentally transform how we conceive of and perceive learning.

Our main team is made up of:[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://macunx.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/ARHeadshotBW-1-e1460737215326.jpeg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://macunx.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/HCHeadShotWeb-copy-e1460737175883.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_gap size=”50px”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://macunx.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Westminster-University-logo.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Dr Aaron Ralby is the founder and CEO of Linguisticator and the inventor of Macunx. Aaron first started exploring the art of memory during his PhD in medieval studies when he learned about techniques monks and scholars used in the middle ages to remember and compose literature. He subsequently spent several years of research figuring out how to apply the same techniques to large and complex systems – like languages.[/cs_text][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Harriet Cook is executive assistant at Linguisticator and an avid linguist herself. With degrees from Cambridge and Santiago de Compostela, Harriet is major advocate of all things Galician. She enjoys exploring the ways medieval knowledge can be used today to enhance modern technology. Harriet will be starting a PhD at Kings College, London in the autumn – but she won’t be stopping her work at Linguisticator and on Macunx![/cs_text][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Westminster University – Macunx is being developed through a partnership between Linguisticator Ltd and Westminster University in London. Westminster has an outstanding game development program, which a lot of experience in creating virtual environments, VR software, and (of course) games.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
